The Unsundering

The Unsundering is Harbinger Portent's valiant attempt in 17,909 to rejoin The Shield, The Sickle and the Cataclysmic Bluont and thus mend the damage of The Sundering. However, during the demanding elemenstation his trusted apprentice Char Reyarteb betrayed him, striking him down at the critical moment of rejoining. The resulting new Battal was only a rejoined Shield and Sickle, leaving the Cataclysmic Bluont to remain sundered, much to their apparent disappointment.

Char Reyarteb exploited the resulting chaos to set himself up as a major power during the following Century of Fire.
