The Vorpal Possessed Flamberge VIII

Vorpal Possessed Flamberges I through VII all managed to behead their forgers before being completed. Gragnakas refused to forge the blade himself, so the apprentice forger of this evil-yet-powerful blade is rumored to have survived its forging by wearing an enchanted steel collar. Thus deprived of the ability to sever his head, the Dyemon-spirit possessed blade settled for severing the apprentice's smaller, less-bony head located closer to his center of gravity.

Sepathok heard of the sword's reputation, and it is said he never allowed it to be unsheathed in his presence.
