The Giant of Blee
Colossal, gigantic and magnificent. Those are the three words that best describe the long lost Giant of Blee. Located in the land of Blee in ancient days, little remains now of the statue other than a giant left leg and the impressive stone base on which it stood. Not to be confused with the Colossus of Blee, which is a different colossal, gigantic, and magnificent statue built in Blee-that-was.
There exist three versions of the history of this ruins of a monument of yore.
The Giant is described as a tribute to long lost heroes in The Shape of the Heart, the Shape of the Tablecloth episode of ElamenSTAR. While it is technically true that the Giant was based on a moderately Epic hero, the Varnak's involvement in the statue's creation is not mentioned anywhere else in canon.
Ah... The Ruins of the Giant... Once, the Giant was a figure of Ronard. Guiding the people for the good and the noble... Smashing heads of evil ones...
Here, the Giant is said to be ruins of the greatest monument ever built in homage to Ronard. This is apparently a deliberate lie; at any rate, it is not the canonical explanation.
The Giant is mentioned, jokingly, as tourist attraction built as ruins by a particularly sneaky Quilp Elemenstor, but The Twilight Vampyres reveals that the statue is of High Superintendent Robins (to whom it bears a passing resemblance) and was completed in about the year 95 MSKP.
