The Twelve Scourges of Battal

Description

An unforseen organization of pure evil created entirely by accident in the Great Elemenstation War. Due to the Epicness Vacuum created by the sheer number of heroes riding to the Cerulean Citadel, twelve of the most epically evil beings from the history/present/future were summoned to the Cerulean Citadel. Upon arriving the Twelve decided to work together as they would never have a greater chance to take over the bastion of High Elemenstation much less take out the majority of heroes in Battal.

Notably several major villans from the history/future of Battal were excluded from the group (such as Vhadxi and Char Reyarteb). No one is quite sure why but some have theorized that having any more villians in one place than had been gathered would have exacerbated the Epicness Vacuum causing a rift in the Elmether. At the end of the war the Epicness Vacuum disapated and those of the Twelve who were not killed in the War were flung back to their proper times.

The Twelve are first mentioned in canon in Book 1 and Book 2 in the descriptions of the Great Elemenstation War that the characters of the books provide. The actual official listing of the Twelve does not come about until the universally banned and reviled ElemenstorLance series The Scourges Pentadecaphron. Each Scourge has their own book in the series. The actual War is described in the final two books of the series Don't Be a Scourge of Battal while Striking Your Gear in the Shield and Dinner with a Shelf.

The Twelve

• Dark Master: Featured in The Everending Apocalypse. Not much is known about who the Dark Master is, however some have theorized that he is none other than the Cardboard Tube Samurai. He caused Archibald Almalastor to preform The Resundering.

• Darth-Lich Ancev: Featured in the Fist of the Doomenors. The Darth-Lich attempted to claim the Death Wand and become the Grand Elemenstor of Death by making himself into a Darth-Lich but was rejected as he was no longer a true Elemenstor after his transformation. He later took over leadership of the Cult of Jgorloruy.

• Kapybara: Featured in the Oculumagistrastrophe. The Dark Elemenstrix of Myrkmoom. Kapybara apparently was facinated by Phila, one of the Four Underdogs.

• Korbrin Terribluth: Featured in How to Preserve, for a Number of Years, All Substances Animal and Vegetable. One of the first Dark Elemenstors. He killed Lady Sporath and Jeremuth Swiftkill.

• Lady Absinthia: Featured in The Doom of All Things and the End of Time. Lover of Char Reyarteb and forger of the Wand of Unlight. Focal point of the Cult of Absinth.

• Ng the Vile: Featured in the Retroguard Action and Sky's Octothorpe. An ancient evil Sorcer'lier. Has been locked in a neverending battle with Jox Poxi on Chrmkqzx.

• Radwrack the Black: Featured in Doctor B's Be Somebody or Be Somebody's Stool. Dark Elemenstor and discoverer of Wrack. He would be controlled by the Wicked Wicker in the Second Great Elemenstation War.

• Rhaja Lord: Featured in With New Introduction by the Author. An ancient powerful lord of destruction and evil. Makes his major appearance during The Burnten'ed Times.

• Spix: Featured in Serial Experiments: Chair. A mysterious and power being. In order to become a god he created an amalgam of the Four Most Discerning Races named Chair.

• The Shadow Lord: Featured in Hats of the Ages and the Genealogy of Epicness. A dark and shadowy man. He controlled the Wang Kingdom for most of The Wandering Age.

• Verix the Thrice-Damned: Featured in Scriveners of Time's Last Moon. Dark Elemenstor and servant of Phgoorikus. He has tried numerous times to resurrect his fallen lord.

• X: Featured in Chaos Resplendent: a Time for Blood. X is a boy from the Dugba Scissor Tribe. Apparently, saying his actual name three times in front of a mirror in the dark will summon him (after which he will kill you), and even saying it once under any circumstances risks causing a horrible painful death. Unfortunately his name is Itzdarkinere.
