Throne Fish
One of the two fish that inhabit the fisheries of The Land of Thrown Fish is the Throne Fish. Like its cousin, the Dart Fish, those that underestimate it have their fates sealed. Resembling a trout as large as a handspan, sporting a "crown" of gold- and topaz-colored scales around its head, and "sitting" on a featureless obsidian throne that levitates both under and above the water, the throne fish is capable of projecting deadly beams composed of no specific element but rather of the fish's uncontrolled capacity for hate. While it's not as deadly as the larger monsters of Battal, even one can decimate a small town and all its chewy, crunchy peasants.
The people of the Land of Thrown Fish rallied together to domesticate and conquer the throne fish, which are both deadly weapons and decent meals. The featureless obsidian thrones are typically used to make stylish decanters and bludgeoning implements.
Their sole weakness is recieving two shallow injuries in the side of its "neck," giving them an unfortunate weakness in the Vampyric Wars.
