Description
Thurskurk is usually depicted as a beast of burden (a mule or donkey usually) hauling supplies, although sometimes he is depicted as a fat, ugly, dwarf selling his wares. Thurskurk is the son of Wednesrok and Saturkaz and the younger brother of Suntor. He was said to have been conceived after a night of heavy drinking by his parents (who were already almost on the verge of seperation anyway).
Thurskurk is primarily worshiped by merchants, those who travel, or those who transport objects. Prayers to Thurskurk are typically said at the beginning of any sort of trip (of any length) and over to construction of containers. A libation to Thurskurk is also poured at the beginning of any trade negotiations. The day Thursday is named in Thurskurk's honor.
