Ulstin Hopwee
Ulstin Hopwee figures prominently in the Intermission to the Tides of the Epic Conflict Saga: The Winds of the Ultracraggoths.
Ulstin was a novice member of the Yam-Eaters and as such was usually sent to do grunt work. However one day the leader of the Yam-Eaters asked Ulstin to do a very important thing. He wanted Ulstin to acquire enough DragonPepper Colby-Jack Inferno for the Yam-Eaters to attempt to make their Epic-ly Spicy Yam au Gratin.
This was a great honor for Ulstin who then contacted Ssskssenek smugglers to "acquire" the cheese from the waring families of Tritificus Bellicosum. The bargin was for two warm scarves per Ssskssenek that helped. The Ssskssenek went off to get the cheese and Ulstin told his leader of the bargin.
When the smugglers came back with the cheese, the Yam-Eaters betrayed both them and Ulstin (who at the time was making sure the cheese was safely loaded). The Yam-Eaters chased the sumgglers and Ulstin up and down The Ultracraggoths until they ran onto a steep ledge and the pursuers were blown into Vadime Bay.
Ulstin managed to survive the ordeal and swore off Yams for the rest of his life.

I loved that scene at the end where he was finally safe in a tavern and they brought him a place of yams! haha! oh the irony.
