Unlife
The theoretical opposite of undead. What would constitute a creature of Unlife is questionable, and an often-discussed topic amongst those who study the undead (Zombologists). While Nothings, have been identified as a "form" of unlife, it is notable that they emerge from undead that have been twisted. Making it debatable if Nothings really represent the true form of an Unlife being.
Popular theory states that since undead supernatural entities that are deceased yet behave as if alive, Unlife would be entities that are alive but seem to be deceased. Since there would be no way to tell if a coprse was a regular corpses or an unlife corpse, citizens of Battal may be surrounded by thousands of Unlife even as we speak.
Another theory states that Unlife would instead be something that wasn't ever alive, but was only sort of alive, such as a transmorphed Furniliar.
A third theory suggests that unliving beings would essentially be unborn - creatures who are living before they were born. Perhaps some lifeform that starts as a corpse, goes through reverse death, becomes young, then goes through reverse birth and ceases to exist. This theory has lost favor since the Backwardsverse of Lattab was discovered, where such a lifecycle is common amongst all creatures.
However, Zombologists also suspect that since undead are annoying, harmful, and depressing - Unlife would logically be fun, bennificial, and entertaining. Until they meet such a being, Zombologists are wary of finally defining any creature as being Unliving.
