Introduction

Deep in the bowels of the Chasm of Eternal Sorrow, the Vampyre Lord Vhadxi slumbered in his CryptoCrypt, until an Epic earthquake tore the crypt asunder. Vhadxi wasted no time recovering his Fell Blade and rebuilding his army to once again attempt to conquer Battal.

Timeline Events

• 26,780 - A catastrophic earthquake rocks Battal, splitting open the CryptoCrypt and releasing the dread Vampyre Lord Vhadxi.

• 26,788 - The Vampyre Lord Vhadxi raises an army of Vampyres and leads them into battle. Having never encountered Elemenstion before, when he is met by an band of Elemenstors, he greatly underestimates them and is quickly defeated in the Battle of an Unbelievably Easy Victory. The Vampyre Lord flees.

• 26,795 - Taking time to pick through the ruins of library in the Cerulean Citadel, Vhadxi learns of the art of Elemenstation that has emmerged since his long slumber.

• 26,797 - Vhadxi begins building a new Vampyre army, this time choosing those with the Knack, and building a sizable group of Unlight Elemenstors.

• 26,803 - Vhadxi resurrects his general Mo-pi, who he found still staked to the top of The Impossible Spire. Vhadxi, who has learned of The Clockwork Fortress sends Mo-pi there to round up a band of Battal's most hardened, evil, and deranged killers.

• 26,808 - Mo-pi returns with The Twelve Twisted Evil, a group of psychopathic Dark Elemenstors, serial killers, and fiends that were imprisioned in The Clockwork Fortress. He has changed them all into Vampyres, and it is this group which becomes the new generals for Vhadxi's growing army.

• 26,958 - For 150 years, Vhadxi has strengthened his army, based out of area surrounding the Chasm of Eternal Sorrow and The Clockwork Fortress.

• 26,960 - Vhadxi, meditating in an affordable ElfStop inn, identifies the Elves of Battal as the most likely threat against his rise to power, and instructs his generals to begin a campaign of terror and destruction against the elves, begin with small raids, but increasing in boldness and intensity.

• 26,983 - The Reunified Elfish Council of Elven Factions conviens in order to mount a resistance to the Vampyre threat. Border skirmishes reported in most Elvin territories are worrying to most members of the council.

• 26,984 - The Falconriders of the Dim Elves enjoy a decisive victory in the Battle of Terrible Vampyre Tactics.

• 26,985 thru 27,480 - Vhadxi and Mo-pi travel together throughout the lands, lending their skills in battle and strategery to the Vampyre Armies. Across Battal, Elven Strongholds fall to the forces of the Vampyric Hordes.

• 26,985 - A spear-carrier battallion of Extremely Elves is wiped out by Arkus of The Twelve Twisted Evil and his horde of Dyre Wolfbats, the first major defeat for the forces of light in the Unlight War.

• 26,986 - Most of the Dim Elf Falconriders are wiped out by Armba Alomba and the army of Dark Whiffle Vampyres that she commands, few take notice.

• 26,986 - Dark Lord Prick'd of the Twelve, striking the dark bassal gear of his own devising known as Unlight's Eternal Decay, begins his successful campaign against the Mean Elves, leading an army of Folded Paper Armor Knights.

• 26,988 - Hij Polonowanabenshi, taking the form of a Soulferic Bat, infiltrates the Forest Woods of the Witch-Elves, sowing the seeds of mistrust from the inside, before bringing his Vampyre Dark Elemenstor army in force.

• 26,992 - Gunter the Flick, Vampyre General and one of the Twelve, leads his Agash Brigade into Aasanarra'iaryl, the land of the Elf-Witches, and engages the elves there in a series of escalatingly violent matches of Agash to determine the fate of their kingdom.

• 26,999 - Three of the Twisted Twelve travel to The Sickle to search for lesser known elven tribes.

• 27,042 - Vampyre General Grey Half-a-Brow, another of The Twelve Twisted Evil, along with brothers Enxim Ott and Wbzun Ott lead their armies of Unlight Elves from the Underkingdom of Grth'lwythlnn (a kingdom whose entrance was reopened by the massive quake) in a battle against The Darkmarch Elven.

• 27,044 - The final member of The Twelve Twisted Evil, Peter, accidentally recruited by Mo-pi dispite a distinct lack of any evil tendancies, manages to slip out unnoticed and seek a destiny altogether apart from the grim business of warcraft.

• 27,391 - After 347 years of bloody battles on multiple fronts, The Reunified Elfish Council of Elven Factions realizes that even the proud and independant races of the elves cannot win this battle alone and dispatch their fleetest Elven Messengers to locate the four Grand Elemenstors (scattered around Battal after the destruction of the Cerulean Citadel and providing aid and relief to destroyed kingdoms) and to search for additional allies.

• 27,399 - Divided amonst themselves, the Witch-Elves are defenseless against the attack of Hij Polonowanabenshi, and mostly are wiped out. Too late Hij realizes that Witch-Elves are probably not technically elves, in the strictest traditional sense.

• 27,400 Gunter the Flick defeats Wylayer'rinnya, Elven Witch Queen, in a final winner-take-all round of Agash, and the orderly dismantling of Aasanarra'iaryl begins.

• 27,405 H'wel Hazeweed-In-My-Pockets, King of the High-Elves, appears in Aasanarra'iaryl and singlehandedly defeats all of Gunter the Flick's forces by cunningly "losing" all of his games of Agash.

• 27,410 - Dark Lord Prick'd finally reaches Great Gandandersanden, the capital of the Mean Elves.

• 27,422 - Armba Alomba leads an attack against the High-Elves, who are unable to mount a proper defense. Alomba's forces sweep through the High-Elvin Crop Fields, burning them as they go. The resulting Grey-Purple Cloud renders most of Alomba's forces lethargic and unmotivated.

• 27,448 - Enxim Ott and Wbzun Ott lead a group of Vampyres that begin the systematic destruction of ElfStops across Battal.

• 27,480 - In a surprising display of undwarvenly compassion for a fellow magical race, Ablongox the Particularly Unusually Long Lived, Forge-King of the Dwarves, declares Kranakakrak against the Vampyres.

• 27,485 - Goldimaris Irregulars from Blee arrive to fight the Vampyre menace.

• 27,490 - Four Grand Elemenstors arrive, throwing their might into the fray, Gilbert Bumflare the Grand Elemenstor of Fire brings The Greatstaff of Burning.

• 27,499 - Joining the forces of good, Elemenstors of Horth, with their formidable bedroom Furniliars and Bedding Golems

• 27,504 - Most of the Vampyre forces are driven back by the combined Army of Elves and Allies, beat back to their stronghold, The Clockwork Fortress.

• 27,510 - Mo-pi reappears after a 30 year absence, wielding the Wand of Unlight!

• 27,515 - The Kingdom of Parsonya falls to the Vampyre Legions, as the Vampyre forces, under Mo-pi begin again to expand their territories.

• 27,521 - the Most Epic and Climactic Battle of the War of Unlight sees the defeat of Mo-pi and Vampyre Lord Vhadxi. Without the key strategists and leaders, the Twisted Twelve fall quickly.

• 27,522 - The end of the War of Unlight

Notes

The Journey of Wolfgang Apprentice is set in this era, but is merely the backdrop for a more personal tale, and the major characters of the story do not play key roles in the outcome of this conflict.
