"Uthrandar!," exclaimed Terin emphatically, standing on the shores of an underground sea.

 

"Yes..Uthrandar." came a gruff voice from behind him.

 

In one fluid motion, Terin unsheathed his blade, Murksilver, from its bejeweled scabbard, and struck blindly into the darkness. The young man's eyes went wide, and he dropped his blade as it was glancing off the heavy armor of his assailant. Before him stood a gigantic porcupine with six legs -- he knew it was one of the mystical Peace-Makers, the Quilp.

 

"I am Prkirprk," the spiny creature said with a grin. "May I be the first to welcome you to the Islands of Uthrandar."
