Wood Rot

Caused by a fungus, this sad disease has killed many an elderly furniliar. If a furniliar is exposed to moisture and poor air circulation for a long time, this fungus can take hold. So, please, check on elderly furniliar shut-ins from time to time. Make sure they occassionally get out and about, and get a good polish every now and then. Talk to them, and keep them company - many have amazing stories to tell about their youth. And once wood rot has set in, dead furniliars make poor firewood.
