Wootie
Wootie: the unnecessary Wutel sidekick of Lord Kinlo in The Wizbits Cartoon.
While the Wutel were deadly and imposing, Wootie was, in appearance, a chibi lobster.
While most wouldn't deny his cuteness (especially the expanding female fantasy dynamic), his voice truly grated across the nerves. So much so, in fact, that after his first two appearances the creators finally bowed to fan pressure and wrote in a story segment describing how Kinlo, in a fit of pique, cast a Really Damn Silent Anti-Elemenstoration on his Wutel companion, silencing him forever.
Discussion
Somewhat mercifully, "Wootie" becomes Wondathil the Wutel leuitenant in Tycho Brahe's Four Underdogs. While Kinlo and co. never appear alongside the protagonists, the Wondathil flashback sequence was no doubt included as a knowing injoke to be shared with Kinloboys everywhere.
Episode credits state that Wootie was voiced by a Mark Hamill.
The below isn't an official cell from the animation. It's poor Fan Art. You've been had!
