Xmas Tree

A beautiful but deadly tree that grows on Zonardia's snowy Chilly Willy Peak. It is an evergreen that has naturally occuring fruit on its branches. The fruit have bioluminescent bactiera inside them that causes them to shine in a multitude of colors. When prey approaches to inspect the glow, the Xmas Tree snatches them up and digests them with powerful mobile branches.

The glowing fruit of the Xmas tree was one the eight ingredients necessary to make the Magic Wand in the The Grand Elemenstor of Magic (or nine ingredients, if you agree with the creator's theory that the Tears of Joy From a Maiden for Heart were really required and not just a placebo). According to Plabin Arcanum, the Glow Fruit of the Xmas Tree was the Ingredient of Life.
