Mitherilium
Mitherilium is a shiny metal ore that has a rainbow tint to it. Remarkably flexible and light weight this metal will not break when stretched and is tough to pierce or slash through. However when bludgeoned the metal will flex and conform to the shape of the blow. This means that mitherilium is ideal for chain shirts and armors meant to deflect arrows, piercing weapons, and light slashing weapons. Mitherilium is also good for whips, ropes, and other weapons that need to be flexible and bendy.
Mitherilium also will flex around objects with out being flimsy or flowy but rather taunt and form-fitting. As such it was used by Blacksmith Smithy Blackfinger to build the Armor of Fullchesthood and its cousin armor the Armor of Flatchesthood. It is also used in the Whip of the Wind, the Mosaic Platter of Ronard and the aborted Armor of Fullestchesthood. This metal is rare and is primarily found in Dwarven lands. Dwarves however don't use it in their armors as most of their weaponcraft revolves around Axehammery but rather they use it for ornamentation or trade it to other Races.
