Pre-Human Organisms

A performance art piece by James Langomedes involving the drawing of a crude sperm cell, the verbal translation into Latin of ElamenSTAR episode 15 to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot," and the injection of a large quantity of heroin into the vein of his right thigh. The genius of this work still remains unappreciated by the general public.

Pre-Human Organisms is part of Langomedes' infamous trilogy of performances, 'The Oblivious Cycle'.(*)

James Langomedes' drawing of a sperm cell used in the performance piece.

  • It must be noted that Langomedes never spoke about these performances in public. The Oblivious Cycle name was invented by the fans and the art community, along with the interpretation that these pieces constitute a trilogy.

I knew that I remembered that drawing from something vaguely related to the saga! Must've seen it in that write-up about Langomedes in Circa magazine during Langomedes' hushed-up trip to Ireland. Dan
