Sorcerials

Note: Yar the Sorcerial was not in fact a sorcerial; in his case, "sorcerial" refers to his powers of timesorc'ley and telesorc'ley. He considered calling himself Yar the Sorc'lerical, which would have been a more accurate moniker, but did not like having to deal with an apostrophe in his name.

The sorcerials are a hybrid race of sorcerers. They kind of look like regular sorcerers, but kind of look like skeletons too. They channel their powers together to unleash the DeathMagicnomical which has actually never been seen by human eyes.

The range of power available to a sorcerial is unknown at this point. Cynics claim that they have "whatever power is needed to impede the main characters just long enough". What is known is that they draw their powers from "The Well Of Unbeing", a mystical power source not mentioned anywhere outside its card in the CCG (See: The Well of Unbeing (Card)). Some fans theorize that The Well of Unbeing can be found in the Chasm of Eternal Sorrow and is an artifact created by the Dark Master. Why the Dark Master would ally himself with anyone as weak as the sorcerials is unknown, except that it seems to be one fate of the super evil.

While the sorcerials have been known to engage in any dark arts needed to advance a plot, frequently invoked powers include the ability to spit fire-lugies, summon hordes of snakes, and cackle manically in the distance. In fact, the sheer versatility of the sorcerials evil ineptitude has caused some fans to call them the "Swiss-Army knife of evildoers".

The sorcerials have appeared in much of the published elemenstor canon, including Mr. Brahe's Elemenstor Cycle, The Wizbits, and as a Super-Double Common card in the CCG (See: Ambushed by Sorcerials (Card)). The rumor that the sorcerials use the DeathMagicnomical to empower the Dark Master in The Fourteenth Manuscript is unconfirmed.
