Benjiro (Ben) Sato

The voice actor who voiced Harbinger Portent/the Ocumen and several minor characters in the first three seasons of ElamenSTAR. He is said to have won the role in a video game tournament against three other voice actors that he won by rattling his opponents with phrases (translated to English here, of course) such as "Is it feeling itchy in here?" and "You know, if you're feeling an eyestrain headache coming on, it could just be a potentially fatal tumor. You just can't tell." Between the production of the third and fourth seasons, he died after lighting himself on fire, apparently for the sole purpose of running into a birthday party and tormenting the birthday boy by re-lighting the cake's candles every time the child blew them out. Sato's role was taken up by Kohaku Nakamura, who had previously voiced the Judeo-Christian God and several Shinto gods in numerous pranks for the hidden camera show 'Very Good Prank Tricking of Secret Yes'.
