Description

Gargauhm is a massive Sponge which is also a major coral reef in the Great Iceberg Sea. He is the ruler of the northern seas and he is revered as the source of all sponges. The coral reef that he is said to be in is the largest in all Battal in fact is is rumored that Northarbor may in fact be a part of this massive reef. This reef is also the reason why the sea is filled with icebergs as a large iceshelf cannot form in the Great Iceberg Sea due to the presence of Gargauhm.

Gargauhm is worshiped by using coral as the foundation for all Shushipodian technology and buildings. It is considered a major offense to Gargauhm to use anything besides coral as a foundation. As such many ships are attacked in Shushipodian territory because of this. Therefore seafarers have tried to build ships of coral to avoid the attacks but to no avail as land dwellers just don't have the technology to build a feasible coral ship, unless of course you are an Elemenstor (however you probably have better ways to get around if you are).
