Helm of Warness

 

Suspected by some to be the result of a slurred syllable during an enchantment intended to confer heightened awareness upon the wearer, this is an ornately-decorated iron helmet chased in bronze and intricately engraved with writing which is too small to read.

 

Upon donning the Helm of Warness the wearer is immediately compelled to make war upon his enemies. In the hands of a mighty warrior in time of war it can be devastating. Unfortunately it fell into the hands of a normally meek and mild-mannered man in a sleepy village at the end of the year 12,983. By 12,984 the entire village was a smoking ruin as insults and slights real and imagined were "avenged" by the crazed wearer.
