Lixi Gem

The Lixi Gem is a small piece of a Lixi Stone. The Lixi Gem is roughly the size of a grain of sand and has a dark blue color to it. However the Lixi Stone is dark red. No one is quite sure why the Lixi Gem changes color once its removed from the Lixi Stone.

Lixi Gems are used in the tracking of items by the Item Law Makers Guild, through the Item Tracking Database. A single Lixi gem is split into two parts. One part is attached to a created item and the other part is kept by the Item Law Makers Guild.

In the event that the Lixi Gem is deactivated or damaged, a new one must be aquired from the Item Law Makers Guild within a reasonable time. Registration of the new gem must be completed in person.
