Magic Sword Equivalents

(or MSE for short)

The standard notation for relative magicality of swords and other weapons throughout Battal. A single MSE is defined as the amount of magic in a Longsword +1.

Fractional, or even irrational, MSE values are possible as in the case of the Longsword +π or Xasserole's Slightly Enchanted Sundering Stick (which has a value of 0.13 MSE).

Also, it is technically possible, though extremely rare, for a weapon to have an MSE value of zero (see The Plain Ol' Sword).
