Need to Replace Arrows (NRA)
A small organization of researchers and weapon enthusiasts formed afted the debreakening of Battal in year -4,420 (TH). The group sought to re-invent the Boomstick, a device whose secrets of manufacture was lost through some sort of timesorc'ley glitch.
The group also lobbied for looser legislation controlling said boomsticks once they were re-invented, as well as taking responsibility for crafting boomstick safety brochures to distribute once the technology was eventually regained.
Unfortunately, despite a strong initial amount of enthusiasm, lack of progress caused momentum to quickly wain. By the TRotE era, the group had only a couple of dozen members spread all across Battal.
First appearing in Book 4, but also making appearances in Book 6 and Book 9, the Organization is considered by most careful readers as Tycho Brahe's scathing literary analog of the real-life National Archery Association (NAA).
In The Elemenstor Cycle the leader of the NRA in all three appearances is Cheryl Tonniston who is a vivacious young Actress recruited by the organization in Book 4 to raise the profile and visibility of the group, but in her other two appearances she is a whithered old matron, embittered and embattled.
