Robert Hungford

British Radio Producer who produced the BBC Radio series featuring The Four Underdogs.

Here follows an excerpt from the book: "Robert Hungford, The True Story" written by Ian Mculin:

"Robert was born in Birmingham in 1941 at Mailbridge hospital not far from Midwinter. For financial reasons, as well as mentioning something about "bloody D+D reenactors," the Roberts family soon decided to move to Causton, a quite small city near London, when Robert was 2 years old. Here the sounds and noises of the city brought the young man's imagination to life, and young Robert was captured with fascination by sounds and speech at a very early age. When he was 4 years old, his father bought him his first recordplayer."
