King Ronard the Shorter

Ronard the Shorter (583 - 1,003 TMSK) was a fairly uninfluential king as far as kings and influence go. He succeeded his father, King Ronard, the first Magic Sword King, who had ruled for a very long time using his very strong powers of persuasion and his Very Large But Unenchanted Spikey Hammer.

Ronard the Shorter has no claims to his name. He made no major improvements and did no great injusitices, but sat in his throne instead, ate, and threw fits at people who referred to him as "the Shorter." His halls were sparesly populated, as he was unable to welcome many guests due to his legendary flatulence, but, at the very least, the legends of his flatulence are still passed down to this day. He was succeeded by Botard the Great and Judicious and Such.

It was his lack of strong leadership that allowed infighting and inaction of The Kings Council. This weak central government set the stage for the Vampyric Wars, which happened during his reign as high king and ultimately ended his life.

Ronard the Shorter's younger brother, Ronard the So-Very-Short did very little of historic note other than eventaully father Frogeater Notapuppet late in life. Frogeater would eventually carry on the royal line of Ronard after Botard the Great and Judicious and Such died childless.
