Description
These four statues stand at the four corners of the Wang Kingdom and were originally erected by Jade Wiiwang to protect the kingdom. It is said that if an outside threat tries to approach the kingdom these monolithic statues will come to life and protect the Wangs. To the West stands King Donqui, the Ape, which unsurprisingly is a statue of a large gorilla. To the South stands Knil, the Swordsman, which is a statue of a man bearing a sword and shield. To the East stands Ma'o, the Plumber, which is a statue of a man dressed as a plumber and is a representation of It'samee. Finally to the North stands Korb, the Thing, which is a statue of what appears to be a large sphere with a smiley face and small arms and legs (the Women Folk think its cute however legend holds that Korb may have been a manifestation of the power of Pahkmaan which would make him a force to be feared).
While the Four Guardians are not worshiped by the residents of the Wang Kingdom they are still revered as the protectors of the land. Many legends surround them as to their protection of the Kingdom. Followers of Plesta Shuntoo claim that the Four Guardians were not created by Jade Wiiwang and do not actually protect the Wang Kingdom, however the legends of their past actions continue to persist.
